Sage Look-Why

Sage Look-Why leads information systems at Aether AI, where he heads the integration of AI systems across enterprise platforms, including LLM-driven workflows, functional support bots and embedded automation tools. He works alongside partner firms on ERP implementation initiatives across APAC, the Americas and multinational organizations, aligning intelligent systems with enterprise operations and cross-border deployment needs.

He is also an Associate Consultant at Crawford Software, contributing to special projects in ERP change management. He supports supply chain, finance, operations and data management initiatives tied to new system integrations for clients in the food and beverage, software and medical industries. Sage is the founder and president of Sync Studio.

Through rotations in EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO), Sage worked with clients across banking and capital markets, hedge funds, private equity, insurance, and wealth and asset management. He supported audit and business process initiatives, working across financial reporting environments, control frameworks, risk management practices and technology-enabled operations.

His experience also includes finance transformation at Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), where he worked during the company’s SAP S/4HANA implementation on cross-functional initiatives tied to its systems transformation strategy. In private equity at Sequoia Legacy, he evaluated acquisition opportunities for lower middle market companies through LBO modeling, DCF and comparable company analysis, and led a team of five through weekly deal processes, research and investment analysis.

Aether AI is a hybrid between venture capital and a venture studio. Most of what we do is AI software: our in-house R&D team builds and deploys AI products for enterprises and governments, and we invest in, acquire and grow AI startups alongside their founders.
